When you have a farm, this is the kind of exciting photos you take. This is the photo to update the husband on how much creep the calves have eaten.

meh

One of the pasture residents has been feeling unwell. He's laying in the yard in this photo. Horses spent little time laying down, their bodies aren't built for laying down for long, it's hard on their lungs, among other things.

I've spent several hours now

Playing feline lactation consultant... they have all nursed.
She has a perfectly good window well filled with staw, covered with a plastic cover and shaded with a trash can lid. But she wants to nurse on the patio.

ground cherries

I suspected these were ground cherries last year, but someone weed whacked them before I could confirm. I'm sure that's what they are this year and I'm paying close attention so I'll get to harvest them this year.

moved to the big hoop

The girls graduated from the triangle to the big hoop today. So much easier to catch them when it was time to go in early.

not Harriet.

Floofy chicken. We did not need more chickens this spring. But. Someone found Cream Legbar pullets, and I convinced him we needed 5, he also picked up a couple floors. He has named this one... but I can't remember what name it was. She looks like a Harriet to me. But that's not what he called her.... so this is not Harriet

Turd Ferguson

He's all about telling the whole world how he has found some great snacks for the girls to eat. Great snacks that I just fed them. Whatever,  poser.

mama kitty

..is judging you.... and me.....

Mulberries

Every year the husband waits until this invasive tasty beast bear fruit to decide to cut it down, but it's free snacks! For me and the chickens.
And I'm sure Peggy needs snacks.

white flowers

After the burst of violets, tulips and lilacs it seems like all the white flowers bloom at once.

all the flowers

I can't take credit for the flowers in our yard, as I have planted none of them. But every year I'm treated to a bevy of blooms. Some wild, some domesticated.
