As a chicken owner, I kind of hate the "color" eggshell. It's boring. And eggs are not. Yes, what you get in the store are weak, yellow-yolked, white eggs.
Not at all like the beautiful, orange yolked, rainbow that I get to collect every day.
It's one of the great things about new chickens. Waiting to to see what colors you get. All my breeds lay cream, brown or green eggs. But you can see from photos that it's not so plain and simple.
