at least they aren't bikers?

This gang of thugs hangs out at my back door looking for chow. Sometimes the one on the left flings himself at me claws out in an attempt to get cuddles. It's hilarious and terrifying all at once. Those claws are damn sharp.

peppers

I have peppers on the edge, so I'm making a pepper-centric dinner.  Peppers, onions, rice and sausage,  plus some tomato paste. No recipe. Just winging it.

*Update* the sausage was freezer burnt so I didn't  eat any, but everything else was good.

nail growth

The bitey blonde princess bit through  my nail at the beginning of September

I polished over it, about a week after, once I was sure it was not infected.

Being under a colorstreet strip has kept it hidden, and kept me from messing with it.

it has grown out quite a way and I expect in another month it will be at the edge, where I will have the trim the entire nail down. By Christmas this nail should be  back to normal.

I'm convinced that the clear as day strips could be used as patches on broken nails.

How to tell people you're from out of town...

Without saying you're from out of town.

Well, you take pictures of things locals could not be bothered to take pictures of. I did that quite a bit recently.

Including the flight home. *shoulder shrug* I'm fascinated by the ability to fly. Isn't everyone? Watching the landscape change as you fly over different areas of the country? Fascinating! Getting in a mechanical monster and take to skies like a bird? Amazing!

The Spanish Trail Country Club, looks like a rattlesnake.

first flight.

Not completely my first ever flight, I flew a short sky tour flight many years ago in a little four seat plane. The pilot took me over our house and circled it. It was the only time I'd flown at all for a long time.

Until now. I have the window seat. And I'm enjoying watching the world go by.  I like to hunt for things on google maps. So my fascination with watching out the window isn't much different.  We might be over Kansas or Nebraska, I see fields with pivots.

My travel companion has flown before, he's asleep.
